Colon Cleanse Diet

The basics of colon cleanse diet is to eliminate processed foods that are rich with fat and refined sugars while including meals that contain fresh fruits, and vegetables. Some diet includes food that is a source of carbohydrate and protein too but do not allow the mixing of both of them during meals.

For breakfast, when you are on a colon cleanse diet, consume only fruits until noon. Being the easiest to digest, while offering less fat and more fiber, you are allowed to eat as much as you like. For lunch, dinner or any time in between, you may consume foods that have carbohydrates (starches) and proteins (meats).

Do not consume anything two to three hours nearing bedtime. As your body begins to sleep, digestion is at a slow rate and it is the time to give your body the rest it craves for. As for fluids, take a lot of purified water, green teas, and juices as they will help your body to develop softer stools for efficient elimination.

Colon cleanse diet does not have to be so complex, all you need to do is to keep your body fueled with healthy food. It may be hard at first, but with regularity and commitment to give your colon the health that it deserves, colon cleanse diet may just be second nature.
