Internal Flush
This is a review about another colon cleansers in the market named Internal Flush. It is proudly announced as an ‘As Seen on TV’ product. The product is manufactured by Integrity Health Products.
Internal Flush is marketed mainly as a weight loss product. The formula creator is Gina Broccolo. She claimed to lose 75 pounds on the plan. There’s also a video from Dr. R. Platt who praises the effectiveness of the product. The product is claimed to be able to lose excess fat and even eliminate cellulite. It is also claimed to be able to relieve other symptoms such as stomach pains and sluggishness.
Internal Flush Caplets contain psyllium husk, flaxseed, cascara sagrada, rhubarb root, ginger, fennel, acidophilus (friendly bacteria), etc. These ingredients are quite common in other colon cleansers. The function of each ingredient are:
1. Psyllium husk is a common fiber supplement.
2. Flaxseed is a great source of essential fatty acid.
3. Cascara sagrada stimulates the lining of the upper intestines to promote normal bowel function. It is also recommended as a tonic for the digestive system, detoxifying and cleansing programs.
4. Rhubarb root is cultivated in China and Tibet which has laxative effects.
5. Ginger functions as a digestive aid, cleanses the colon & stimulates circulation. It also prevents the gripping abdominal cramping during your cleansing.
6. Goldenseal root treats inflamed mucus membranes, including stomach and intestinal tract. It relieves pain and heal wounds.
7. Fennel seed relax muscles in the digestive system and smooth the muscle lining of the digestive tract to help expel gas.
8. Marshmallow root is the remedy for gastrointestinal disorder.
9. Slippery Elm Bark has been used as a demulcent and emollient. It is helpful where inflammation exists and primarily for soothing properties.
10. Raspberry leaves relax and smooth muscles of the intestine. It is used to remedy extreme laxity of the bowel.
11. Friendly bacteria helps in improving digestion.
The instructions to take Internal Flush are very easy. Internal Flush Caplets should be taken in the evening 2 hours after the last meal of the day (which usually is dinner). The quantity of each dosage can range from three to six a day and it depends on every individual’s reaction. The cleanse is recommended by the company to be done 30 to 90 days and 3 times per year.
This is usually not recommended by me because of the existence of Cascara Sagrada which is a ‘harsh’ ingredient that works as a laxative. It might cause dehydration and harm to your colon if you use it for more than 7 days.
Besides Wal-Mart and other retailers, you can get Internal Flush at their official site by getting the free trial offer. All you need to do is pay around $1.95 for shipping and handling cost for the free trial. You might be automatically enrolled into their utoship program which allows the company to deliver you product and bill your credit card monthly. This might be a situation you want to stay away because there are many complaints about autoship programs and many of them couldn’t cancel it easily.
The product is normally sold around $29.99. There’s no information about return policy given.
Thanks for reading my review on Internal Flush!
